1. Overview
Welcome to ReviewNotes ("the Service").
By using ReviewNotes, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
2. Purpose
ReviewNotes helps users:
- Register study problems (text or images)
- Build personalized problem sets
- Practice repeatedly
- Track learning progress
The Service is designed for personal, non-commercial educational use.
3. Accounts and Access
- Access is provided through Google Login (OAuth) only.
- You are responsible for managing your own Google account.
- ReviewNotes does not store or handle any Google passwords.
4. User Content
- You own all content you upload, including notes, problems, and images.
- ReviewNotes only stores and displays your content within your personal account.
- Your data will never be shared, analyzed, or used for advertising.
5. Data Storage
- All user data is securely stored on AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
- We make reasonable efforts to maintain availability, but continuous access cannot be guaranteed.
- Service operations may be modified or paused for updates or maintenance.
6. Payments and AI Credits
- Creating and solving your own problems, building problem sets, study schedules, printing, and running classes are free and unlimited. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
- AI credits are consumed only when the Service performs AI work on your behalf — for example slicing questions out of a scanned page, extracting problems from a document, generating solutions, organising tags, or creating similar problems. Current per-feature rates are shown on the pricing page and in your account.
- Every account receives 100 AI credits on sign-up, once.
- Additional credits are sold as one-time credit packs through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. Each purchase is a single charge. Purchased credits do not expire and are tied to your account.
- Credits are consumed as the AI work is performed. Where an AI request returns no usable result, the credits reserved for that request are returned to your balance automatically.
- If a purchase is refunded — by you, by us, or through your payment provider — the credits from that purchase are removed from your balance, including any portion you have already spent. This can leave your balance below zero, in which case AI features stay unavailable until you purchase enough credits to bring the balance back above zero. Everything that is free remains available.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for money except where required by law.
- Credit pack prices and per-feature credit rates may change. Changes apply to purchases and AI usage made after the change; credits already in your balance are not revalued. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful or infringing materials
- Attempt to access or modify data belonging to others
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or exploit the Service for commercial resale
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is."
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.
9. Modifications
We may revise these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
